By John Spencer editor@tri-lakestribune.com More than 150 Branson High School students participated in the Family, Career, Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) pie baking and sale Nov. 24 and 25 to benefit the Hiding Place, according to club advisor and FACS teacher Angela Amtower. The pie baking process that brought in close to $1,000 began with several students coming in Saturday, Nov. 22, to peel and cut apples. Joan Westfall, Director of Operations at Christian Action Ministries (CAM), Jim Owen, Susan Owen, and Owen’s granddaughter, Jazz Destineé, featured in the Jim Owen show. The Owen’s sold Christmas ornaments at the show for $5 a piece to benefit CAM.
